While all of the Comic-Con, TwiCon, and Creation Entertainment tours are going on, be sure to not forget about the Talking Twilight convention in Portland, Oregon from August 28th to August 30th.
Talking Twilight is a convention set up to benefit the local children's hospital, Doernbecher's Children's Hospital in Portland, and it will be attended by Peter Facinelli, Edi Gathegi, Alex Meraz, Christian Serratos, Gil Birmingham, Ayanna Berkshire, and Logan Welch (stunt double as Edward for Robert Pattinson).

Talking Twilight will be hosting a blood drive (theme: "I got bitten to feed a vampire") event that anyone in the United States can participate in. Between July 31st and August 1st, if a person donates blood, they can get their local blood donation location to send proof of that fact to the Clark County Donation Center in Westfield Shopping Center (a.k.a. Vancouver Mall) with a letter of intent to enter the drawing and be signed up for the chance to win two free tickets to the Talking Twilight convention.

Peter Facinelli who plays Dr. Carlilse on Twilight is having a bet with one of his friends that he can get more followers than him on his Twitter. If he loses he has to give the guy his directors chair from the Twilight movie and if he wins his friend (who I can't remember his name righ now) has to walk up and down Hollywood Blvd. in a bikini singing some silly song.
